- San José: Debbie Faires, Assistant Director for Distance Learning, will do the overview.
Please read the information below. RSVP by Friday, August 15 to let us know if you are planning to attend the Fullerton or San José new student orientation. These in-person orientations are optional and are for new students admitted in the Fall 2008 semester. The same information has been provided in the Flash based orientation presentation sent to all new Fall 2008 students via my.sjsu.edu. San José
Saturday, August 23
The SLIS San José orientation will be held in the afternoon of August 23. Schedule:
- 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.: Orientation, Engineering Building, 2nd Floor, Alumni Conference Center, Rooms 285/287. (The Engineering Building is in the B-3 quadrant on the following San José campus map. Enter the building at the southwest corner. See also San José location information for links to driving and parking information.)
- 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.: Meet & Greet Social Hour, Engineering Building, rooms 285/287. Refreshments provided.

Fullerton
Sunday, August 24
The SLIS Fullerton orientation will be held in the afternoon of August 24. Schedule:
- 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.: Orientation, KHS 199 — Kinesiology and Health Sciences Bldg. (See CSUF campus map).
- 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.: Meet & Greet Social Hour following orientation.
