Ellyssa Kroski publishes more about two web-related technologies: mobile web and microblogging.
Ellyssa Kroski, SLIS lecturer, authored a report about the mobile web, which "highlights
libraries' mobile activities." She also authored an article about Twitter and who and why
librarians use Twitter.

Robert Boyd accepts position of Assistant University Librarian for Technology Applications at Santa Clara University
Shortly after completing the SLIS Executive MLIS program in Summer 2008, Robert Boyd, J.D., SLIS lecturer, accepted
the position
of Assistant University Librarian for Technology Applications at
Santa Clara University. This position includes supervision of the library system
as well as digital initiatives. Boyd writes, "This will be in
addition to my
continuing responsibilities as an IT Manager which should keep
me very busy!"
Boyd also had a paper he wrote for Dr. Ken Haycock's LIBR 282
(Human Resource Management)
class published.
