LIBR 289 e–Portfolio Orientation – Fall 2008
The LIBR 289 e–Portfolio orientations are optional—they are not required.
The orientations are designed to provide a forum for general information and questions for Fall 2008 LIBR 289 students. Attendees are expected to read the LIBR 289 Handbook before attending an orientation. If you will be enrolling in LIBR 289 in a different semester, please wait to attend an orientation for that semester. The Orientations will be filmed and posted on SLISweb for later viewing.
Fall 2008 e–Portfolio students are invited to meet new Fall 2008 entering SLIS students during the Meet & Greet Social Hour from 3–4 p.m. (after the New Student Orientation and before the e–Portfolio Orientation). New students are very interested in meeting fellow students who have a greater experience of the MLIS program and the School. We hope you will be able to attend to welcome the new students and to share your experiences with them.

The San José LIBR 289 e–Portfolio Orientation will be held in the afternoon of August 23. Schedule:
- 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Meet & Greet Social Hour, Location: Engineering Building, 2nd Floor, Alumni Conference Center, Rooms 285/287. See B–3 quadrant on the following San José State University campus map. Enter the building at the southwest corner.
