July 28: Application deadline to apply for $2000 FILL program internships offered by eight MCLS libraries to SJSU students in Southern California who are interested in public libraries: See Internships: FILL program.

August 1: End of 6-month grace period for Fall 2007 Alumni to remove their e-Portfolio from SLIS Plone. This only applies to Fall 2007 graduates who completed LIBR 289 in November 2008. See email sent by Jane Fisher to the alumni electronic list on July 21st.
